Please come show your support for my brother in his fight against AML Leukemia!
My brother, Michael, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia June 15, 2013, merely 6 weeks ago. He is a very healthy 28 year old who simply had the flu and when he went to the emergency room at Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio to get fluids due to dehydration his blood work showed he had leukemic cells. Completely blind sided by this news he was immediately admitted as a patient in oncology and has been there since. He has been so strong through both rounds of chemo and multiple bone marrow biopsies. It seems one of the harder parts of this whole process for him is the fact that he cannot leave the hospital, let alone his hospital floor due to the fact that he cannot risk getting sick and has an extremely weak immune system due to the chemo. My brother unfortunately does not have health insurance and the hospitals will only cover a small portion of his bills. So, to help him through this struggle my family and I are throwing a benefit for him to raise money and show our support. This event is open to the public and will be held tomorrow night in Akron, Ohio at the Akron Barley House, 222 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio, 44308, from 7-10pm. Tickets are $20 at the door and include food and drinks until 9pm. We will also have a silent auction which features signed sports memorabilia, a flair show by a local fan favorite Robbie Flair and a raffle every 15 minutes to local businesses and restaurants. You can get further updates on our Facebook events page Michael Sullivan Leukemia Benefit.
Thank you all for your love and support! Can't wait to see you all there! This is going to be EPIC!!!
