Bang Bang

The Monophonics use their Black Rock sound in the remake of the song Bang Bang.  Originating in San Francisco, California the band came together in 2005 to explore and develop their Psychedelic Rock sound and have made their mark as the leading band in the genre.  The original version of Bang Bang, sang by Nancy Sinatra, was featured in the movie Kill Bill Vol. 1.  The band released their newest album "In Your Brain" earlier this year and have been busy touring the U.S.

I was five and he was six
We rode on horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight

Bang bang, she shot you down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down.

Seasons came and changed the time
When I grew up, I called him mine
He would always laugh and say
Remember when we used to play?

Bang bang, she shot you down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down.

Oh my baby
She shot me down

Now she's gone, I don't know why
I didn't even say goodbye
Oh sometimes I see him crying
didn't have the time to lie.

Bang bang, she shot you down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down

Oh She shot me down
Bang Bang
Oh I hit the ground
Bang Bang
Bang Bang
